Rain, wind, more rain…these past few November days have been miserable. Each day we are greeted by another cold, grey morning and each day we struggle more and more to force ourselves out of our warm, cosy beds. Everywhere we look we are surrounded by grey and we all have to face the fact that as December fast approaches the days are going to get colder, darker and, well, grey-er! Our bodies are yearning for the warmth of Summer while our eyes hunger for the colours of Spring to banish away the monotonous grey of Winter. But before you resign yourself to hibernation we urge you to come visit us in-store at Please Don’t Tell. While we may not be able give you the warmth of Summer we can certainly help you with the colours of Spring. Peter Pilotto’s S/S’12 pre-collection has now arrived in-store and it is packed full of colourful, digital prints; a bona fide feast for your dreary eyes. The fractured, zoomed-in, fragments of color are derived from photographs of mercury and lace and they really are something to behold. In fact, the designs are so stunning that they’ve already created a bit of a celebrity following. The label has been a hit with fashion conscious celebrities such as Miranda Kerr, Kate Bosworth, Thandie Newton and Carey Mulligan. It even made its political mark at number 10 Downing Street when Samantha Cameron wore it to greet the Obamas.
